Easy Ways to Update your Space as a Renter

Updating your apartment can be an exciting experience, whether it’s a new post-grad apartment, first college apartment or even updating your dorm room. Personally, I would love to upgrade my apartment by the time I’m 25 and I’m so looking forward to all the interior designing I’ll be doing. However as a renter, I also know that great design plans can come to a halt with all the restrictions that come with renting, and to be honest, no cute design is worth losing a security deposit. However, there are easy, affordable and damage-free ways to add character and style to any space.

Gallery art

Gallery art is an inexpensive way to update a room.  You can add an eclectic mix  of DIY’s vintage frames and gallery arts, as well as play around with  structure and  design.

Removable wallpaper

Removable wallpaper is a great and affordable alternative to painting. There are limitless options within different price points and many of the prints can be found on Etsy.

Flowers, Vases, and Succulents

These add life to any space and artificial flowers work just as well, that is if you are like me and can’t seem to keep an actual plant alive.
